Made in Nepal: Delux Animal Hats

There are zebras and raccoons, elephants and tigers, squirrels and foxes. Some have matching mittens, some don’t. Some are imaginary species, like the Sock Monkey, while others are just exotic. The animal hats cause the most ruckus at Edie Hats, judging from the perpetual crowd of customers surrounding their display. As well as being our customer’s favorites, the Delux Animal Hats are also responsibly manufactured.
Delux says on their website, “We insist on the highest level of employment and labour standards from our suppliers. They must ensure that no abusive, exploitative or illegal conditions exist at their workplace. “ Hand knit by a woman’s co-operative in Nepal, many of these women are the sole providers for their families. The animal hats piled high on either side of them represents a steady income. Delux’s mission is to work with responsible companies that respect the rights of workers. They even donate a portion of the proceeds to a local Nepalese orphanage.
For one of our most requested items, this is good news, as these animals are sure to be leaving in packs.

Please let me know if you know WHERE I can buy these hats! I got the owl set as a gift and I am always getting asked where to buy them. There is nothing on the Delux site anymore. Thanks!

These are the most AWESOMEST touqie hats ever!!! Between my bf & me we have the monkeys,zebra,mouse & bear.I think we might have to head down to the shop and add to our collection
