What began in 2005 as a collaboration between Ben Goorin (hat designer and owner of San Francisco’s Goorin Brothers) and Jeffrey Rubin, a San Francisco-based artist, the 1333 Minna collective has grown to include a number of artists and designers.  The name, 1333 Minna, comes from the address of their studio in San Francisco’s Mission District.  It has become a centre of creativity and innovation.

No more problems with shipping to Canada.  No more cross-border searches or long-distance inquiries. This year your search has ended.  Edie Hats is very excited to introduce this much sought-after collection of fitted caps, fedoras and accessories to Vancouver.

The Spring 2009 collection is based on designs inspired by Ancient Babylon and Mesopotamia.  The hats feature original designs and elaborately embroidered imagery that reinvent the ancient deities and hieroglyphics with an urban edge.  Blending an artistic sensibility with the raw relevancy of streetwear, the collection maintains the quality and integrity of the Goorin Brothers brand.   This season’s artist roster includes Amanda Lynn, Ewok, Norm, Reyes, Retna, Steel, and Belsky.
