In addition to their Fall 2009 collections for men and women, Brixton has grown to include a new Holiday Line featuring new colour and fabric offerings in the best-selling styles we wear and love so much. Watch for their arrival at Edie Hats in November 2009.

When Edie and I met Kat from Smart Tart we fell instantly in love with her locally designed collection. She opened her hatboxes to reveal delightfully one-of-kind floral headpieces, some with cardinals, others with netting, a pink peony on a pink headband, and lovely flower chokers. They’re all now available at Edie Hats and Tart, along with her French lace sleevelets, leather cuffs and handmade jewellery.

The Spring 2009 collection from San Fransisco’s 1333 Minna Collective is inspired by the art of ancient Babylon and Mesopotamia. The hats feature original designs by contemporary artists that reinvent the ancient deities and hieroglyphics with an urban edge, blending an artistic sensibility with the raw relevancy of streetwear.
