Bailey of Hollywood have been making hats in Los Angeles since 1922.  With true entrepreneurial American spirit, George S. Bailey saw the potential in providing high quality hats to the emerging film industry – where the company has remained a favourite to this day. The birth of  the then small town of Hollywood as one of the most glamourous places in America meant that the rich, famous and stylish needed hats that were not only fashionable but of exceptional quality.

It didn’t take long for Bailey to become the hat of choice for stars such as Humphrey Bogart, Bing Crosby and Cary Grant. To this day, they still use many of the original wooden blocks used to shape the same hats worn by these famous heads.

Bailey is still regarded as one of the best companies in America for producing classic hats such as the Fedora and Pork Pie but also for their innovation and modern interpretation of these timeless pieces.
